Creating a file with SigmaPlot

SigmaPlot is a specialist graph creation and editing application often used by IJCCE authors. The user enters raw statistical data into the program, and then uses the software to produce high quality graphs.

PLEASE NOTE
Because of software version differences and image content variation, the instructions given below should be used as a guide only.

1 - Applying IJCCE settings to a graph

  1. First create your graph, and save it in SigmaPlot format.

  2. Follow the instructions given here to set the format of the graph.

2 - Saving your image

  1. Once the illustration is finalised, print your image out as a final size and quality check.

  2. Choose one of the following:

    1. Save in PDF format - This is the preferred option, as the vector-based PDF format has the highest image quality. However, you will need a copy of the full version of Adobe Acrobat. Click here for details.

    2. Save in TIF format - If the PDF option above is unavailable, save as a TIF bitmap. Click here for details.

  3. It is a good idea to re-open the file produced in step (ii) to make sure that the export process has worked correctly, and that the resultant image is acceptable.
