Effect of Cyclosporin-A on the Order and Dynamics of DPPC model Membrane Systems
Laser Raman spectroscopy has been employed to investigate the effects of cyclosporine-A on the order and dynamics of DPPC (Dipalmytoyl Phosphatidyl Choline) midel membrane system. It is shown that the addition of small amount of cyclosporine-A to a DPPC dispersion disturb the system and changes the order/disorder parameter of the model membrane.

Preparation and Characterization of Smcl3(THF)3 and Sm(BH4)3(THF)3 Complexes
The synthesis of SmCl3(THF)3 from SmCl3.6H2O is described. The reaction of SmCl3(THF)3 with NaBH4 in dry THF gave white microcrystalline tris (tetrahydroborato) tris (tetrahydrofuran) samarium (III), Sm(BH4)3(THF)3. The vibrational and magnetic properties of Sm(BH4)3(THF)3 have been studied.

Synthesis and X-Ray Structural Determination of 2,4,6,8- Tetraphenyl- 2,4,6,8- Tetraazabicyclo [3.3.0] Octane
Condensation of glyoxal, formaldehyde and anilines lead to the formation of 2,4,6,8- tetraphenyl and substituted phenyl 2,4,6,8-tetraazabicyclo [3.3.0] octanes. The reactions are sensitive to pH and temperature. Ortho derivatives of anilines do not participate in this condensation. X-ray structural determination reveals a cis-dienvelope geometery about the two fused rings.

The Quantum Statistical Mechanical Theory of Transport Processes
A new derivation of the quantum Boltzmann transport equation for the Fermion system from the quantum time evolution equation for the wigner distribution function is presented. The method exhibits the origin of the time - irreversibility of the Boltzmann equation. In the present work, the spin dependent and indistinguishibility of particles are also considered.

Flow Injection Spectrophotometric Determination of Sulphide by Catalytic Reduction of Toluidine Blue
Sulphide was determined spectrophotometrically at 628 nm and pH 6.7 based on its catalytic reduction of toluidine blue in the presence of Se(IV) using a flow injection system. After optimization of the measuring conditions the calibration curve was found linear up to 25 mg/mL and the detection limit was 0.3 mg/mL (30 mL injections). The relative standard deviation for the determination of 10 mg/mL sulphide was 1.2% (n=14). The injection rate was 30 h-1.

A New Development of Electronic Descriptors for Simulation of 13C Chemical Shifts
The 13C chemical shifts for a series of compounds which includes carboxylic acids, aldehydes, ethers, ketones and hydrocarbons were simulated by using the parametric techniques. The observed chemical shifts were related to numerically encoded structural parametes called descriptors. Two new electronic descriptors were added to the previous descriptors. Ploting of experimental versus calculated chemical shifts for 34 different carbons in the data set shows a standards deviation of 6.05 ppm and regression coefficient of 0.994.

Ability of Aphron Flotation in Whey Treatment
Whey contains more than half of total solids present in the original milk, which includes 20% of the proteins, most of the lactose, minerals and water soluble vitamins. In this study, selective separation of whey components by Aphron flotation (separation of ultrafine particles by micro-bubbles) has been investigated. It has been shown that it is possible to recover valuable components of whey by flotation method instead of vaporization.

Gas Absorption with Chemical Reaction in Turbulent Flow
In order to increase the rate of gas absorption, chemical reaction in the liquid phase is considered. The purpose of this paper was to simulate gas absorption process by a liquid film over a spherical packing incorporating eddy viscosity and diffusivity. Second order chemical reaction for two different cases (fast and slow) were considered. The system partial differential equations obtained was solved by the use of finite difference method. In this study absorption of CO2 by mono-ethanol amine (MEA) and methyl di-ethanol amine (MDEA) were considered, and velocity and concentration profiles in the liquid film were obtained. The simulation results revealed that, increasing of turbulence in the liquid film, increases the rate of gas absorption while decreases the thickness of the reaction zone.
